It has black and white stripes on it like a zebra 

It is next to the school grounds and the person who lives across the road by the gate 

The zebra crossing helps people get across safely. 

I like the zebra crossing. 

The old man

The old man has a white beard as white as snow.

He is small like a dwarf like off Snow White and the 7 dwarfs.

He looks poor because he looks sad.

The old man is about to walk across the road.  I can tell because he is standing by the road.

Field trip. 23.6.2014

Field trip

Disgusting!  I said as I got off the bus. Ow my shoes all covered in mud and grass I thort that this wasn't gonna be fun. As we went on I thort the same thing antil we went to the recycling table were room 8 and 9 saw... Glass bottles fizzy drinks yogurt contanrs all on the table then I thort that it was going to be interesting and it was then room 9 and 8 went to this place were cars come in and dump there rubbish. It was a hughmunges hole in the ground it stunk really really bad it fult like I was gonna vomit that's how much it stunk. Then we got to see the place that the truks come in and take the rubbish to the landfill. Then we hoped back on the bus and went to the landfill. When we drove up the drive way I said to my salf ‘‘this doesn't look like a landfill’’ antil the lady toled us that the rubbish gets beryed in the ground. We also saw the gas pipe that take's the gas out of the rubbish that is bearded in the ground. It was very existing but stinky but still it was the best day ever. When we got back to school it was still the best day ever because we got to drees up in our costumes that we made out of recycling I made my costume out of a black shopping bag with a paper mashay flower seletaped on to my costume and I made a skirt out of newspaper. I couldn't sit down because it would rip my skirt and in the assembly room nine got to have a little fashion show to show off our costumes to the school and it was still the best school day ever. The End

This is my favourite piece of writing in Term 1.

In the playground I feel a cilly breeze and I can feel the cold wood on my skin. I can hear kids talking and stones clashing together. I can hear the choking wind on my face. I can see the still playground siting peacefully on this foggy day.

Science

In science we are making a rainbow in a test tube.

I like spelling city because it helps me with me learning and it has fun games.

Play ground

In this story I worked on using interesting sentences with joiners and correct capitals and full stops.

In the play ground I feel a chilly breeze and I can feel the cold wood on my skin. I can hear people talking and stones clashing together. I can hear the choking wind wind on my face. I can see the play ground sitting peacefully on this foggy day.

Swimming

 When I dangle my legs in the pool. I feel a chilly breeze on my feet. When I do freestyle I feel the water rushing through my fingers. And when I open my ears I can hear kids splashing and playing.Sometimes I can taste the chlorine in the pool. And I can see the shimmering pool gleaming in the sun.
